Understand what is right and wrong and know the difference between truth and propaganda in order to determine your own future.

Youth Minister Parveen Kumar said this to Tavua youths when he handed over two fibre-glass boats last week.

He also urged the youths of Nabuna and Tavualevu to stop listening to misleading information being spread that budgeted assistance provided through Government-funding was “vote-buying”.

“We are here with a purpose to empower youths – that is our mandate,” he said.

“We are here as a Government to serve the youths and meet your expectations.”

Mr Kumar also urged the youths to put to good use the assistance rendered to them by the State.

He said his ministry was always ready to provide further assistance based on the outcome of their assessment and analysis of their activities.
