Krishna shines in India football circle

INDIAN Super League Hero of the Month for November Roy Krishna continued his fine form in the competition scoring twice to help his side beat North East United 3-nil yesterday.

Krishna showed why he is the top scorer in the competition after easily beating the opposing sweeper and placing the ball beyond the goal keeper for his first goal.

ATK led 2-nil at half-time.

The Siberia, Labasa lad had a chance to score another goal early in the second spell but his shot sailed past the wrong side of the upright.

The 32-year-old Fijian striker did get his second goal of the match in injury time after chipping the ball over the opposing goal keeper.

Krishna has scored six goals in seven matches and is the competitions leading goal scorer this season.

ATK also leads the standings and has 14 points from seven matches.
