NEW Zealand 7s assistant coach Tomasi Cama Jnr rates his playmaker and fellow Fijian countryman Vilimoni Koroi as a world class 7s playmaker.

The former All Blacks 7s kingpin who also played a huge role in the rise of Koroi’s rugby career said the nippy playemaker has the vision for the 7s game and armed with sheer pace and big sidesteps.

He said Koroi who has been offered a Super Rugby contract would be a key player for New Zealand at this weekend’s HSBC World Series South Africa 7s.

Cama also praised the efforts Fijian duo in Luke Masirewa and Amanaki Nicole for helping New Zealand to victory in Dubai over the weekend.

New Zealand is pooled with South Africa, Zimbabwe and Samoa.
