The Suva Magistrates Court has given the defence counsel representing former teacher Kishore Kumar 14 days to file their grounds for a voir dire application.

Mr Kumar appeared in court yesterday before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.

He is charged with six counts of indecently insulting or annoying a person and one count of criminal intimidation for social media posts against parliamentarian Lenora Qereqeretabua.

He denied the charges when he took his plea last month.

Bail was extended and the case has been adjourned to April 26.
