Kim wins silver medal for Fiji

FIJI’s Chang Ho Kim and has settled for the silver medal in the mixed country relay team event at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Ho partnered with Guo of New Zealand and their team called Omega lost 110-106 to team Alpha in the gold medal play-offs and won a silver medal for Team Fiji.
Only three athletes represented Fiji to the Games including Serenia Ragatu in athletics, Grace Yee in table tennis and Chang Ho for Badminton.
Ho lost in the singles during the pool plays and partnered with Guo of New Zealand to scoop the silver medal for Fiji in the mixed team.
Team Fiji Badminton coach Robbie Thackham was delighted with Chang Ho Kim’s impressive performance after the semi-finals knowing he has achieved something in the competition.
Meanwhile Ragatu has one more event in the 400 metres before the trio heads back to Fiji from the Youth Olympics in Argentina.
