Kerevi named Reds captain

FIJIAN Samu Kerevi has today been named by the Queensland Rugby Union to captain the Reds in this year’s Vodafone Super Rugby competition.

The Viseisei, Lautoka lad will be playing his sixth season with the Queensland Reds.

While he has already captained Queensland on a few occasions in the past, this time he has been officially being given the task to lead the team.

Kerevi played junior rugby for the Fiji U20 team in 2012 and has played 58 Super Rugby matches for the Reds and has donned the green and gold colours for Australia in 25 Tests.
