What started off as a home-based warehouse and delivery business in 2022 has today expanded with two outlets – one inn Suva and the second one opening tomorrow in Nadi.

TechHub director James Sharma, 26, said they started marketing for their products through ad platforms trending in the market and the results they got were overwhelming.

“Our main aim with all this was to make buying super easy and convenient.

“Given the circumstance we presented our customers with the option to deliver the products to their doorstep free of charge which also gave a significant boost to our sales,” Mr Sharma said.

With a total of six staff members and an investment of up to $70,000, TechHub has been able to create a web catalogue www.techhublectronics.com for the best online experience, broadened their accepted payment services, and built a strong social media presence with more than 30,000 active followers.

“We attribute our success to social media platforms mainly Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok which we consistently use to interact with our clientele. Our Socials response rate is more than 96 per cent and we are maintaining that at a superior level.”

The company director, who is a digital marketer by profession, said digital marketing had given them an edge to reach more than 30,000 customers within one year of existence as a business which was truly remarkable.

“Collaborating with local influencers has also given us an added advantage in terms of creating a brand which is widely recognized now as TechHub,” he said.

Mr Sharma said their systems back-end was solid.

“We run Google Ads, Display Ads, Fb Ads,Ig ads, tiktok ads and we are one of the very few companies that serve customers even when retails are closed via our website www.techhubelectronics.com.”

According to Mr Sharma the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) is resolute in the appearance of any business in the near future.

“We encourage local schools and universities to educate our growing population about newer trends, technologies and productive ways to get things done in 2023.

“Let’s embrace it now.”

With his understanding of modern technology Mr Sharma favours systems that increase productivity and he wishes to take his business to another level at just the age of 26.

TechHub is located at Shop 31M Lees Meet n Mingle Centre, Laucala Beach, Ratu Dovi Rd Nasinu.

Their second outlet will be officially opened tomorrow at Eden Plaza Martintar, Nadi.
