Japanese Government to officially handover Balevuto Public School

THE Japanese Government is expected to officially handover the completed Balevuto Public School to the Fijian Government this Friday in Ba.

The school was completely destroyed by Tropical Cyclone Winston in 2016 and was revived by the Japanese Government through the Adopt a School program – to the tune of more than $1.1million.

According to the Japenese Government, the school was rebuilt and refurnished under the its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects program.
