MANU Samoa head coach Vaeluagaomatagi Steve Jackson is wary of physical rugby match against the Flying Fijians in Suva tomorrow.

Jackson said the match would not only be a game of mindset but a test of physicality and rugged rugby experience for the fans.

“Any Fiji and Samoa Test is foremost going to be a physical battle and big collisions,” he said.

“I have told the boys to stick to a system and structure and those who will be on the ground will expect physical contacts,” said Jackson.

Samoa has recalled most of its players who featured in their win against Tonga last month. Jackson said Fiji had beaten some very good teams and it would be a very exciting match to watch.

“Obviously they have beaten some good teams. This is an opportunity to get our confidence back after last week and we will be looking for our game drivers to step up and run the game as we expect.

“The Pacific Nations Cup was always the an opportunity to not only give players a chance to put their hands up for selection but for us to build depth and planning is well done in advance.”
