Information appeal for Hamilton robbery

Update: 5:48PM HAMILTON: NEW Zealand Police are appealing for information that could assist in identifying three suspects for an alleged aggravated robbery at a Hamilton liquor store last night.

Police said at around 8.30pm, two women and a man entered the Heaphy Terrace Super Liquor and threatened the store attendants with a metal pole.

They reported that the trio allegedly stole cigarettes, alcohol and cash, before fleeing the scene on foot, escaping down Bettina Road.

Police said the suspects had their faces covered.

The driver of a blue Jaguar vehicle who was seen trying to stop the trio from leaving the scene is now being sought by Police for a statement.
