Indonesia hands over relief supplies to Fijian Government

Relief supplies for Severe Tropical Cyclone Harold-affected communities arrived from Indonesia last night.

The supplies handed over to Minister for Defence and National Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu was worth $300,000.

During the handover, Indonesian Ambassador to Fiji Benyamin Scott Carnadi said the supplies were a token of Indonesia’s strong relationship with Fiji.

“We feel for our brothers and sisters in Fiji and we hope that these supplies will be able to bring some comfort to those who were affected by TC Harold,” he said.
