THE touring Australian Affiliated States rugby league team bounced back superbly in the second spell to hold the Fiji Residents 20-all at Lawaqa Park this afternoon.

Trailing 20-6 at the break, the visitors displayed structured rugby and pressurised the Fijians to commit unforced errors.

Indiscipline and individual play also led to Fiji’s downfall as Tikiko Noke and Ilai Nareki sinbinned allowing the visitors to capitalise and score two tries.

A late penalty in the second spell levelled the game as the visitors bounced back from their 36-12 loss last week.
