FIJI 7s men’s team forward Suliano Volivoli isn’t only a representative at the HSBC World Sevens Series but also a frontline in the fight against COVID-19 in the country.

The Police officer changed uniform after he returned from his debut in the Las Angeles 7s last month from theinternational rugby arena to the streets of Suva controlling the public during this crisis.

The Vunibau lad from Serua said it’s his responsibility and his childhood dream to represent the nation.

“Rugby has always been my dream and representing Fiji has always been my goal but it’s God’s calling for me to serve my people as a police officer especially during this crisis,” said Volivoli.

“At this difficult time, I’ve been doing my own training but my goal at the moment is to serve the public and I will always be ready to represent my people when needed.

Volivoli captained the Police 7s team which defended the McDonalds Coral Coast 7s and Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s tournament earlier this year.
