I am woman, I am here

Update: 2:45PM TO highlight the stories of women so it can empower and inspire others, a new magazine was launched today.
Entitled, “I am Woman”, the magazine is owned by Vintage Link Fiji and Fay Volatabu, the General Secretary of the National Council of Women is the Editor in Chief.
Vintage Link Fiji owner and magazine publisher Lorraine Foster said the first issue contained stories of eight women whose work and parenting struggles were the essence of women.
“The magazines will be about unknown women in the country and tell their stories. This is the first issue of the year for the months of February and March and we are going to have six publications altogether this year,” Ms Foster said.
Ms Foster said the magazine would be sold at major shopping centers and hotels for $5 and mentioned an online version of the magazine would soon be available.
Some of the women that featured in the first issue include musician Natalie Raikadroka, human rights activist Priscilla Singh, law lecturer Akanisi Nabalarua-Vakawaletabua and the late Adi Laufitu Malani.
