Hundreds join yellow ribbon walk

HUNDREDS gathered at the Albert Park in Suva this morning for the Road to acceptance Yellow Ribbon Walk 2018 hosted by the Fiji Corrections Service.

Commander Francis Kean acknowledged all those who took their time out to attend the walk.

Cmdr Kean explained the significance of the starting point of the walk that had an image of a gate.

“Some of you may have seen it last year, this gate signifies the keys to the second prison is held by the citizens of this country so it’s a gesture of acceptance from us fellow citizens in giving us that second chance,” he said.
