Hundreds of people rushed to the Nacilau border along the Kings Road in Lautoka to leave the containment area following the Ministry of Health’s directive to open the borders for people to return home.
Today, piled onto the border where police officers requested each traveller to present identification details and contact information.
At the Lautoka mini bus stand, Fijians also boarded minivans that only allowed 10 passengers onto their vehicles.
