Huge turnout at Duavata Crime Prevention Carnival

THE float procession of the Digicel Northern Duavata Crime Prevention Carnival lured a huge crowd to main streets of Labasa Town as the police band led the march through town today.

Carnival committee chairman Satish Kumar thanked the crowd for supporting the  festival that has funded development projects in communities including CCTV cameras in town.

Mr Kumar said the support of the communities, has helped his team achieve the establishment of development projects.

The 2019 Queen and King will be crowned tonight.
