Hotels prepare holiday packages to entice tourists

More than 140 hotels have hooked with Fiji Airways to produce holiday packages designed to entice tourists to the country when borders reopen, says Attorney General and Economy Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
He made the comment during debate on the 2020-2021 Appropriation Bill in Parliament on Wednesday.
The AG said incentives like the $60million allocation to the national carrier and $100 reduction in departure tax were all part of Government’s measures to boost tourism numbers once flights resumed.
