THE best of Tanoa Group of Hotels’ employees for the year 2018 were pampered and catered to by managers and senior staff of the local company during its annual awards held at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi this week.

The switching of roles came during the awards ceremony where the top employees were recognised for their contribution to the Group’s overall performance over the past 12 months.

Tanoa Group of Hotels area general manager Narend Kumar said the employees were the company’s most valuable commodity.

“This is an annual event for the Tanoa Hotel Group which gives us an opportunity to recognise our people who are our most important asset,” he said.

“This is the most important event in our calendar.

They work very hard for us and we need to recognise our people.

“Our chairman Mr YP Reddy always recognises the contributions of his staff and he has made it a point for us to continue that. “We always say that we believe in our people but we also praise them for their hard work.”

He added that the hotel chain also recognised the contributions of their staff in their Samoan and Tongan hotels.

“They are part of the company and by bringing them over it is also an opportunity for us to learn and exchange ideas.”

Reddy Group managing director Rohit Reddy said the company would not be where it was today without their people.

“The Tanoa Way is about helping each other succeed and it is about being honest and passionate,” he said.

“This is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our staff and recognising them all for their hard work.”
