Hopefuls turn up for Fiji Tribes U15 trial

OVER 60 players from Suva and the West AFL academies turned up for the Fiji Tribes under 15 trial at Suva Albert Park this morning.

Of this, 26 will be selected to be part of the Fiji Tribes Under 15 squad for the Oceania Cup Championship in December.

The squad will be further reduced to 23 in December.

Fiji is the defending champion of this tournament which will have teams from Vanuatu, Nauru and Tonga.

Fiji Tribes manager Paula Tuilevuka said he was impressed with the turnout indicating an increase in interest of the sport.
