A 41-year-old soldier allegedly involved in a hit and run case in Mokani, Tailevu granted bail by the Nausori Magistrates Court yesterday.
Sitiveni Tukaituraga appeared before Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne, charged with a count each of dangerous driving occasioning death and failure to comply with the requirements following an accident.
A 19-year-old boy lost his life in the incident.
In court yesterday, Mr Somaratne granted the accused bail under strict conditions and ordered the accused to surrender his travelling documents.
The matter has been adjourned to January 13, for plea.
