WORLD renowned hotelier Hilton celebrated its 100th anniversary today.
The group’s Fijian property – the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa and Doubletree Resort by Hilton Resort Fiji – were the first to mark the special occasion this morning.
Guests joined staff for a fun-filled sun rise breakfast at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa’s Maravu Restaurant on Denarau.
Hilton Fiji cluster general manager David Wells said Hilton has become a world-famous brand that has made its mark on the world stage.
“This is a very significant milestone for us because Hilton was the first hotel in the world,” he said.
“We have been able to find the word Hilton synonymous with the word hotel and we are very proud to be a part of such a world-renowned brand.
“We wanted to create a special celebration for our guests, team members, owners and business partners alike, particularly because we will be the first two Hilton’s globally to see the sunrise on our 100th anniversary.”
