Hill brothers win gold in Fiji Games boxing championship

BROTHERS Winston and Jonathan Hill both won gold in their respective bouts during the Fiji Games National Boxing Championship finals at the Police Special Response Unit in Nasinu today.

Winston won gold in the 69kg final bout beating Sunia Dari by way of a unanimous points decision.

Earlier, Jonathan Hill won his final bout in similar fashion beating Solomoni Tikoisuva in the 75kg final bout.

The younger brother of Fiji Super Welterweight champion Sebastian Singh, Nathaniel, also claimed goal beating Elia Rokobuli in their 57kg final bout.

“We will finalise our squad soon and begin the final process towards the Pacific Games in Samoa,” said national boxing coach Nicholas Fuata.
