Staff members of Central Finance gifted stationery kits to 25 students of Fiji Gospel School for the Deaf at Harland Hostel in Samabula, Suva.

Central Finance sales manager Alan Jesoni said they were happy to assist the school and the students. The program was part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity.

“As a corporate organisation it is part of our CSR to be giving back to the community particularly to the less fortunate and underprivileged like the Fiji Gospel School for the Deaf, “he said.

“We have given them a new set of volleyball kits for the children to play with and painted their play- ground.

“This is the first community project we are doing as a finance company.”

“Most of the time we are busy with our daily routines and we tend to forget that there are certain individuals and organisations who need such visits occasionally.

“At management level we have decided to create such activities so that it becomes an eye-opener to our staff members as well.”
