The RSR Group brought in certified mind-set coach Karen Kronemeyer from Melbourne, Australia to help develop squash in the country.

The group invested $5000 in the program which was held over three days from last Friday at the Nadi Sports and Social Club.

The company took care of all of Kronemeyer’s expenses and also paid for the coaching fees and meals for all the participants together with the expenses for the squash courts.

RSR director Renita Ram said 16 players participated in the program.

“We attracted all the A Grade players from around the country,” Ram said.

“This is all in the lead-up to our second RSR Open Squash Championship in October.”

“We work towards adding value to the sport by increasing spectator numbers as well. It is about creating upskilling opportunities for our players. In February 2021, we held our first ever RSR Open Championship at the Nadi Sports Club.”

The RSR Open Squash Championship will start on October 9.
