Health minister urges medical practitioners to remain apolitical

HEALTH Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete has reminded medical practioners to always remain apolitical.

He made the comments while officiating at the ‘Win against Cancer’ at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.

“I want to make it very clear that Government, whether we work in the private or public sector that it is important that we remain a political and that we maintain our views so that at the end of the day the patients are getting quality care,” he said.
