Health Minister: 30-plus medical facilities to be relocated

THIRTY medical facilities have to be relocated due to the impact of climate change on vulnerable communities.
Health Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete said this during his keynote address at the 27th Fiji College of General Practitioners last Friday.
He said the medical fraternity could not ignore climate change because of its impact on health and infrastructure.
“We have 30 facilities that we have to move because of climate change,” Dr Waqainabete said.
