ASSISTANT Minister for Agriculture, Rural and Maritime Development, Waterways and Environment Jale Sigarara has pleaded with villagers to have a self help attitude.
Mr Sigarara’s comments follow continuous pleas from villagers for simple things that they could do themselves.
At Nakama Village on Thursday afternoon, villagers asked whether Government could help build a dispensary in the village as Labasa Hospital was quite a distance.
The villagers also asked if Government could help them in any way with the cassava plantation.
The women’s club also asked for financial assistance to complete the construction work of a restroom.
