THOSE intending to be part of the Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) Scheme need to have a good reputation to open opportunities for other Fijian workers.

This were the words of Minister for Employment Jone Usamate while speaking to Korotasere villagers in Cakaudrove yesterday.

Mr Usamate said the scheme were open to those within the age group of 18 to 50 years.

“However I recommend those between the age of 20 to 50 to be part of the scheme because they are more mature and be able to make good decisions,” he said.

“Therefore when you choose those to be part of the scheme you need to ensure that they are people of good behaviour because their performance will determine the future for countless others wanting to enter the scheme too and make a living for their families.”
