BRISTOL Bears Fijian find turned saviour Siva Naulago’s hat-trick was enough to see the Gallagher Premiership leaders hold a 24-23 win over the bottom placed Worcester Warriors during their round 12 match at Sixways Stadium in England on the weekend.

The rugby league convert and flyer scored two tries in the first-half to help his side to a 17-10 cushion at half time, with his third try in the final minutes which was converted flyhalf Callum Sheedy rescued the Bears from embarrassment.

Bears halfback Andy Uren was Bristol’s other try-scorer Blindside winger Perry Humphreys and inside centre Francois Venter scored Worcester’s tries with flyhalf Billy Searle converting three penalties and a conversion.

Jamie Shillcock also added a conversion. Naulago also racked up the stacks with nine carries, beat five defenders had four clean breaks and gained 120 metres.

He was named the man of the match. Worcester has now suffered their eleventh successive defeat.
