At the age of 21 years, the Kalabu woman had served tea to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during her visit in 1953.

Yesterday was probably her most emotional and memorable experience.

She had her second meeting with the royal family when she met the Queen’s grandson, the Duke of Sussex — Prince Harry.

In front of hundreds gathered at the Colo-i-Suva Forest Park, the youngest son of the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles, and sixth in line to the crown, knelt down in front of Ms Vulaca.

“This is truly an amazing experience and I am deeply touched,” she said.

“I have waited a long time for this moment.”
