I admire these very hardworking ladies from the highlands making their way on a daily basis to the Ba market to sell their produce.
Despite the damage done by Severe TC Winston to their crops, their resilience and fortitude to come back as true survivors is warming.
What is more striking is that they bring their little ones along and patiently handle two things at once: selling their produce and minding their children.
At the end of the day, the true heroes are these ladies who without any complaint sit on the dusty market floor only to make an honest living.
The least we can do is buy from them and the municipal administration team can provide a decent place for these ever patient, hardworking ladies to sell their produce.
It is not fair on the part of these motherly figures to be seated on the dusty floor from dawn to dusk while we continue to enjoy comfort.
