FIJI Airways Fiji 7s captain Kalione Nasoko is expected to lead by example when the Hamilton 7s defending champion start their campaign against Wales on Saturday.

The Yasawa man is the leader in the number of off-loads in the first two tournaments of the 2018/2019 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, with 13 off-loads.
Some of Nasoko’s off-loads helped in the team’s battle to finish the opening two tournaments of the series in third spot behind New Zealand and USA.
One of Fiji’s strength has always been the players’ ability to make an off-load when facing the opposition while on attack.

Dropped playmaker Vatemo Ravouvou also made 13 off-loads in the first two tournaments.

Fiji’s first match in Hamilton is against Wales at 10.52am on Saturday.

The second game is against Argentina at 2.42pm before we face arch rivals Australia in our final pool match at 6.52pm.

The team arrived in Hamilton on Monday and had its first training session yesterday as they head to the final phase of training before the tournament starts
