THE growing number of people with drug and mental health-related issues admitted at St Giles Hospital every month has prompted the need to rope in overseas psychiatric specialists.
Speaking to The Fiji Times, hospital acting Superintendent Dr Kiran Gaikwad said this was one of the major challenges they faced.
However, despite those challenges, he said they worked with all resources available to ensure patients received the treatment they needed.
