THE Grace Road Group has forayed into the health sector after opening its latest investment — Grace Dentistry — at the Flagstaff Plaza in Suva yesterday.

Its public relations manager Grace Park said they had invested in the state-of-the-art equipment aimed to provide the best treatment and care possible for their patients.

According to Ms Park the clinic will be open from Monday to Saturday however the opening hours would depend on the patient demand.

The clinic is being managed by Dr Jiwon Kim DDS, MS, whose credentials show that he is a certified prosthodontic specialist and dual doctor of dental surgery degrees from Ostrow School of Dentistry, University of Southern California, USA and Yonsei University School of Dentistry, Seoul, S Korea and he was also a clinical assistant professor in the Prosthodontic Department at the Yonsei University School of Dentistry.

Dr Kim said with more than 15 years of experience in the field, he could say that people in Fiji needed both treatment and education when it came to taking care of their teeth.

“I have been in Fiji for the past two years and I had to wait for my registration with the Ministry of Health and in these two years I have noticed that there are people here who either have lost their teeth or wait until its too late to visit a dentist,” he said.

Dr Kim said his objective was to provide both the best care available and treatment for patients and at the same time educate them on how to keep their teeth healthy.

The dentistry has four staff members — Dr Kim, two dental nurses and a receptionist.
