The Fiji Pine Group (FPG), in collaboration with BSP Life, undertook financial literacy training for company staff members this week.

FPG CEO Vimlesh Kumar said they were pleased to start the year with training on the value of money.

“Our aim is to highlight the importance of money to our people and our landowners in order for them to become empowered and make smart financial decisions,” he said.

“The sessions provided by BSP Life financial advisers, who were very informative and provided applicable knowledge and skills to us on how we should be managing money effectively, budgeting, saving, borrowing and investing.

“The main goal for us is to achieve financial stability that will unlock our doors to financial success for our people and our landowners.

“FPG will be engaging with relevant associations to educate its people and landowners on financial grounds so that our people take the lead role in making the necessary awareness to our people and our landowners.

“We thank BSP Life and their financial advisers for volunteering to engage with us to educate our employees on the value of money and make wise decisions for every dollar.”
