Grant for children and school

CHARMAINE Walker returns to Fiji to donate more rugby items to children and schools who were in need of rugby gear.

Compared to her previous visits, Charmaine had a list of schools in the Western Division, in Tailevu and Levuka for the handover.

Some of the schools she visited were St Peter Chanel Primary School in Korolevu, Navatu Primary School, Rakiraki Methodist School, Nakauvada High
School, Navunibitu Catholic School, Dawasamu Primary School and Levuka Primary School and many others.

Charmaine donated rugby gear to children and she meticulously fitted the pairs of rugby boots to inspiring young athletes herself.

Charmaine said she handed out socks, jerseys, and shorts to Navutulevu Village where she also received a welcome home ceremony.

She also donated toothbrushes, toothpaste, kids rugby boots, shirts and other items during her visit.

She adds that she will continue to collect donations and continue to give back to the people of Fiji.

She thanked those who have helped her with the donation like Ballina Rugby Union Club together with Townsville North Rugby League Club, New South
Wales -Waratahs team and the Melbourne Rebels.

“I Thank Mark, Desiree and Kurt for pharmacy donations from MJD Health Clinics, Emerald Lakes Medical Clinic and Pharmacy and APOTEX Australia,” she said.

Charmaine will be leaving the country today to return to Australia.
