THE Australian government is closely working with the Fijian Government to strengthen its customs and borders.

Speaking at the 25th Australia Fiji Business Forum in Brisbane, Australia, yesterday, Australia’s Assistant Trade and Investment Minister Mark Coulton said the security of the Pacific regions was a high priority for the Australian and Fijian governments.

“An efficient and effective customs and border make our communities safer and make it easier for businesses to transact,” Mr Coulton said.

The two-day forum ended today.
