Fijians living in the Lau Group that were affected during TC Sarai and TC Tino can soon expect assistance to be brought to their doorsteps.
A team of officials left for Lau this afternoon on government vessels Bai ni Takali, Veivueti and Sigavou.
Minister for Disaster Management Jone Usamate reminded the officials to perform at their level best and ensure they accomplished their goals.
The vessels will be transporting relief supplies to the affected areas.
