THE FijiFirst Government is currently facing a strategic paralysis, says SODEPLA Opposition MP Mosese Bulitavu.

His comments came following a heated debated in Parliament yesterday over a motion to amend the Parliament sitting calendar sittings between April to November this year.

Mr Bulitavu said Government should be more responsible in their decisions before making any changes that would affect Parliamentary democracy.

“If they take away the March and July sitting , what if urgent issues arises then how will Parliament address these issues.
“This amendments to the calendar shows poor planning by Government and a waste of tax payers money to reprint the calendars,” he said.

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed -Khaiyum said the Opposition should learn to speak on facts in Parliament and stop misleading people.
