Corinthians 6:17 “But the person who unites himself with the Lord becomes one spirit with him”.
As we celebrate Good Friday, it’s important to pay heed to the values that are embedded in the Bible – the values of love, sharing and caring, self-sacrifice, kindness, compassion, humility and respect.
Easter is the time when Christians remember the crucifixion and resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ.
Easter is the time to promote the Kingdom of God and his values. Our Lord Jesus Christ has shown how a member of the Kingdom should live and how a person should display the beautiful ways to lead a meaningful life.
Easter is a time of reflection and most importantly one of renewal.
The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ is significant to every Christian and symbolic of a second chance at a spiritual life.
This is the time of reigniting a sense of ownership to improve our individual lives and work on the principles that embed the true sense of accepting and forgiving each other.
I conclude with Deuteronomy 28:2 “Moreover, all these blessings will come upon you in abundance if you obey the Lord, your God”.
Our planet is in a crisis. The rise of new diseases, climate change and sea-level rise are hot topics around the globe.
I believe the way out of this crisis is to seek His words.
God loves the world and he has taught us to do the same but we have failed in many ways.
It’s never too late to redeem ourselves and change for the betterment of humanity.
As I conclude, on behalf of my family, I wish all my Christian brothers and sisters a blessed and happy Easter.
