Update: 2:49PM FIJI based French chefs join over 2000 chefs on all continents of the world to celebrate french food for the fourth year tomorrow night.

Called the Go’t de France  loosely translated to mean Good France, the culinary event is a celebration of  French gastronomy and is held every year on March 21.

Served over dinner, the celebration is served simultaneously around the world designed to honor French cuisine and is recognized as part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Chef Philippe Garand of the Holiday Inn in Suva will lead the Fijian edition of the celebration whilst cooking for a seated dinner to held at the official French residence.
