Gamel expects to make few inclusions

VODAFONE Fiji football coach Christophe Gamel is expected to make a few inclusions in his 22-member team named for the international friendlies against Mauritius and New Caledonia later this month.

Gamel said that at least seven of his preferable starting players had not turned up and he would have to make adjustments.

“These players have personal commitments or some are injured so I really don’t have a choice. Goalkeeper Misiwane Nairube couldn’t make it either so I have called Beniamino into the camp,” he said.

Fiji plays New Caledonia and Mauritius on March 18, 24, respectively.
