FIJI has to adapt and accept the new rules being implemented by World Rugby in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

Fijiana 7s coach and former national halfback Saiasi Fuli made the comment while leading his team for the first time at the Hamilton 7s in New Zealand this weekend.

The weekend will also be the first time World Rugby is implementing a new format and rules in the annual series.

With the Fiji men’s team trying a hat-trick of wins in New Zealand, Fuli said the way to win was to tag along to the changes made by the parent body.

“It is what it is,” he said as the Fijiana 7s team arrived at Auckland Airport yesterday before heading for Hamilton.

“We have to live with it and prepare accordingly.

“Every minute counts and every game is a final.”

Fuli’s Raijieli Daveua- captained team meets China, England and hosts New Zealand in the pool plays of the NZ Sevens.
