Fuel company become athletics sponsor

Update: 2:47PM THE 2018 Coca-Cola Games has been boosted with the timely $10,000 sponsorship worth of fuel from Pacific Energy to be used for the three days of competition.

Pacific Energy commercial business manager Nemani Kobiti donated the $10,000 cheque to the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association general secretary Vuli Waqa in Suva today saying the company is grateful to be part of the competition for eight consecutive years.

He said the success and the sound organisation of the Games convinced the company officials to again support this year’s competition.

“This is the eight years we have been sponsoring the event and we are honoured to be part of the Games,” said Kobiti.

Waqa commended the support and the commitment shown by the company which has contributed to the growth of the Games.

The event will be held at the ANZ Stadium from next week Thursday.
