Bula

After the gremlins struck on Friday, we are finally back! And it’s good to be back!

I must take this opportunity to acknowledge all the readers and followers of The Fiji Times who messaged me or called up for information.

You can expect the Saturday edition back on May 21.

Anyway, the big one on the bumper The Sunday Times’ edition for May 15 is on a nightclub owner who is being investigated after the Fiji Intelligence Unit discovered that $3.9 million was deposited into the nightclub’s bank account at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. That was when nightclubs were closed.

The second story on the front page is about how hard work and sacrifice paid off for Bhavisha Harkishan when she scooped four gold medals at the University of the South Pacific graduation ceremony in Suva on Friday.

Read these stories in The Sunday Times.
