What a day it turned out to be here in the Western Division yesterday. The temperature gauge hit 36 Degrees Celsius at one stage. It was hot in Lautoka!

The big news on the front page of The Sunday Times for March 26 is about the number of civil servants in Fiji which has risen from 27,000 to 35,000 in the last six years, increasing the sector’s funding from $750million to $1.05billion.
