With so much attention focused on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we place this on the front page of The Fiji Times’ edition for Tuesday, March 1.
Come to think about it, it’s also the start of another new month. Phew! How time flies!
At least two academics discuss the impact of the invasion on our nation. Even though we are supposedly far off the beaten track when it comes to the events happening in Ukraine, we are not altogether removed from it.
People are dying there. More are expected to be killed in this unfortunate turn of events. Turn to Pages 2 and 3 for a comprehensive coverage. There’s more in the international pages as well.
