  • THE National Federation Party (NFP) has raised concerns regarding the regulation of content online during the media blackout period with the Multinational Observer Group.
  • THE People’s Alliance leader Sitiveni Rabuka said under a PA-National Federation Party government, the role of the army and navy will be enhanced to be at the forefront of climate change adaptation, and assisting in rebuilding climate resilient communities.
  • A PEOPLE’S Alliance led government will reinstate the Great Council of Chiefs because it believes “the GCC is the institution best positioned to put in place training and leadership programs for the iTaukei traditional leaders”.
  • SA rauta. This is the general consensus of voters on the ground, says National Federation Party (NFP) general secretary and 2022 General Election candidate Leba Seni Nabou.

  • The Fijian Elections Office has commenced the verification of postal ballots.
  •  TRANSPORT will be provided for voters on Election Day and Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem said the service will be free of charge.
  • THE Fijian Independence Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) has refuted claims made by People’s Alliance deputy party leader Lynda Tabuya that FICAC officials harassed her 16-year-old daughter.
  • Mr Saneem has clarified that the courier service provider DHL might open a postal packet of a voter for security checks if he or she did not use the prepaid return envelope that the Fijian Elections Office had issued to return their postal ballot.
