THE case against Freesoul Real Estate Development Fiji PTE Limited has been adjourned yet again to allow the State to respond to a motion filed by the company’s lawyers.

Freesoul is charged with one count of undertaking an unauthorised development on Malolo Island in the Mamanuca Group.

The case was called before Magistrate Peni Dalituicama at the Nadi Magistrates Court today.

Defence lawyer David Toganivalu informed the court that they had filed a notice of motion and supporting submissions and were waiting for the State to respond to the motion.

Mr Dalituicama allowed the State some more time to respond to the motion filed by the defence.

The case will be called again for mention on February 21.
